"EQUILIBRIUM" is a student studio-project, completed in 6 months in Unreal Engine 4.
Project Equilibrium acts as a proof-of-concept for a highly skill-based, fast paced, adrenaline pumping First-Person-Shooter, merging classic tropes of the old with a touch of modernisation.
Players are thrown in to an arena-styled environment to fight off waves of AI enemies in a multi-objective, mobile defense style gameplay loop.
Core Gameplay Pillars:
- The Player must feel as nimble as a feather and hit like a freight train
- Movement is key, standing still is a deathwish
- Embrace Player-learnt techniques and expand on them
- Player skill and input centric abilities
